The Future Of Internet Marketing
I've been thinking in recent times, about the rise in popularity of everything web based - welcome to the present some might say.
We have known from the 1990s that our future lies with the internet. But never before has it been so obvious that business are investing more and more in online advertising.
Seriously, every new business report indicates that more money is being poured into online advertising. I even read a recent article where the Times and Post both experienced a strong loss of income due to dwindling sales of hardcopy.
More and more news agencies are turning to blogging and other online media to capture their audience.
In 10 years time, the young generation will have matured and will most likely consider online media their one and only source of information and a complete necessity for daily life - it probably already is.
Anyways, with this growth in the online presence of ordinary folks and day to day companies, recent surveys have noted a growth in the Internet Marketer population. More and more people are trying their luck at earning an online buck, which brings me to my point: Do you think the present is our last chance to truly establish our presence in the online marketplace? As more and more companies realise that their future lies in the online marketplace - they will invest - and once they do, will there be room for the little guy to manouver? Or do you think that the nature of the internet will always allow the internet marketer to pick at the crumbs and make a good online living?
